About Us

We began manufacturing and fitting church window guards in 1992 and since then have supplied
thousands of guards for cathederals and churches within the UK.
Our window guards are fully welded using British made stainless steel weldmesh,
grade 304 or 316
with either 4mm, 6mm or 8mm diameter stainless steel frame, finished in polyester dry powder coating in
any RAL colour, usually black or grey.
We can take our own templates and fit the guards, or supply guards to your templates
and specifications relating to any shape of tracery. Other products include ornamental
gates, bespoke steel window frames and security grilles.
We also supply and fit polycarbonate window guards complete with our own design
of stainless steel fixing clips which will ensure adequate ventilation and also
allow for themal expansion. In case of maintenance, these can be easily removed
and refitted with the correct tools supplied.
Ainsworth Engineering Services was formed into a Limited Company in November 2006.
Managing Director Peter Ainsworth studied at Nottingham Trent Polytechnic and holds
a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
